Ryan Benabou Biography
- Coach Ryan Benabou grew up in South Orange County and played ball at Aliso Niguel High School. He went on to play junior college ball at LA City, where he posted a 361 batting average – placing him fifth in their league in hitting, and first in doubles with 20 and 20 bags. After LA City, Coach Benabou went on to play professionally with the Yuma Scorpions in the Golden Baseball League.
- A graduate of Long Beach State University with a BA in Communications, Coach Benabou plans to pursue a Masters Degree in Sports Management. He has been coaching travel baseball in the 14 – 16U age categories for the past three years, and has also developed two years of high school baseball coaching experience.
- Coach Benabou wants to use his strong love and passion for the game and teach how to develop a hard working habit, so that these young players can reach their full potential and know how to go about the game in the right manner. He wants to give back to youth players to teach them what it takes to get to the next level. “My goal is for my team to never give up, and always fight till the end, leaving it all out on the field.”
