Donn Johnson

Bio:

• - Coach Donn Johnson was an All City High School baseball player in Sacramento, California, All State in Junior College baseball, and Division 1 baseball at Fresno State - selected in 1972 as one of the Outstanding College Athletes in America.
• - Coach Johnson has 1 year of minor league and 30 years of amateur baseball experience under his belt. In fact, he is still playing ball, with one State Championship, 3 World Championships and a Gold Medal from the Nike World Master Games to his credit.
• - With over 30 years of coaching experience, including Little League, Freshman and Junior Varsity High School baseball, ASA softball and Men's teams.
• - Coach Donn Johnson has been coaching the Freshman baseball team at Mission Viejo High School for the last 4 years.
• - Coach Johnson brings his baseball experience to coaching, transferring knowledge gained from playing for some of the best coaches in the US, (and some of the worst.) He describes himself as, "old school," with an understanding of, "new school." He has helped research and write a chapter in a "How To" baseball book, and is knowledgeable in weight training and speed development, as well as all areas of baseball skills development.
